2024 Walt Disney World Vacation Packages Open May 31
One of the most commonly asked questions our clients ask us is when they can book their Walt Disney World Resort vacation for the following year. We now have an answer to that question. Walt Disney World Resort vacation packages will be available beginning on May 31! In only a few short weeks, we will be able to assist our clients with their magical 2024 vacations. As exciting as this news is, even more amazing news was released.
Theme Park Reservations May No Longer Be Required
As of January 9, 2024, theme park reservations will no longer be needed for date-based tickets. This would include all the following types of tickets:
Date-based, multi-day Theme Park Tickets, such as the ones that are included with vacation packages
Date-based 1-Day Theme Park Tickets with Park Hopper or Park Hopper Plus Option
Date-based 1-Day Park-Specific Tickets
Special ticketed events, such as Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party
Water Park Tickets
Annual Passholders also may not need a park reservation, depending on the date of the visit as well as the specific park.
Dining Plans Will Return
Beginning January 9, 2024, Dining Plans will be offered once again! These will be available as an option for those who book a vacation package at one of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels. There will be two dining plans offered:
Disney Quick Service Dining Plan
Disney Dining Plan
The Disney Quick Service Dining Plan includes 2 quick-service meals and 1 snack per guest (ages 3 and up) per night of stay. The Disney Dining Plan includes 1 table-service meal, 1 quick-service meal, and 1 snack per guest (ages 3 and up) per night of stay. Both dining plans include a resort refillable drink mug per guest (ages 3 and up).
Walt Disney World Resort has over 200 dining locations to dine. Restaurants participating in the dining plans will be announced at a later date.
Extended Park Time For Select Guests
Walt Disney World Resort will extend both Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours through 2024. Both of these extended hours are already a perk for select guests. Early Park Entry allows guests staying at Walt Disney World Resort hotels and select other accommodations access to the theme parks 30 minutes prior to park opening. Extended Evening Hours are offered on select nights at select parks to guests staying at a Disney Deluxe Resorts, Disney Deluxe Villa Resorts or Other Select Hotels.
Updates To Genie+
Specifics for this one have not yet been shared. However, it was announced that changes will be coming in 2024. Stay tuned for more info!
