How to Mobile Order at Walt Disney World

If you are like our family, there’s little time to stop during a day at the theme parks to have a table-service meal in the middle of prime time for rides! So, what’s the best way to feed your hungry family without missing a beat at Walt Disney World? Use this How to Mobile Order at Walt Disney World guide! This is a new service offered to guests at Walt Disney World for easy meal orders at most Quick Service restaurants done straight through the My Disney Experience app.
Ordering
Here’s how it works. Open your My Disney Experience app and click the Order Food icon under the My Plans section. Next, Select a Restaurant will prompt you to choose the desired quick-service restaurant listed by park. The Dining Details screen will give you a snapshot of the restaurant’s description. Click on the Order Food icon to start building your order.
Paying
There are food and beverage item details available, along with prices for each item on the menu. After you add your meal selections, you will be able to view your Order Summary. Payments for Mobile Ordering can be made through a credit card you input, a credit card already attached to your My Disney Experience account, or via Disney Dining Plan credits. Currently, there is no way to use an AP Passholder or DVC member discount through Mobile Ordering, but that option may be coming soon. After you pay for your order, you have the option of clicking the button labeled, ‘I’m Here Prepare My Food’. It only takes a few minutes for your order to be ready, so be sure that you are close to the restaurant before clicking that option.
Picking Up
Each restaurant has a Mobile Order Pick Up line designated for Mobile Orders only. There is little to no wait in these queues as your order will be quickly prepared and ready for pick-up. Look for the Mobile Order signs for directions. Your food will be delivered from the kitchen to the counter in no time along with the receipt with your order number on it. Now all you have to do is enjoy the meal and jump right back into the action inside the parks.
Plus, it’s not just Walt Disney World guests that can take advantage of this amazing new feature. Disney just announced that Mobile Ordering will now be available in Disneyland through the Disneyland app as well!
