Walt Disney World Reservations Update
To our clients with plans to travel to the Walt Disney World® Resortfor the remainder of 2020--this week, Disney shared the news of their plans for reopening their Florida Parks, beginning on July 11, 2020. Many new strategies and policies will be implemented for the protection of guests and Cast Members including:
Parks will require advance reservations to limit capacity.
Parades and fireworks will not take place.
Masks will be required for all guests ages 2 and up.
Additional hand washing and hand sanitizing stations will be available.
Temperature checks for guests and Cast Members.
Cashless procedures at all retail stores.
Additional signage and Cast Members enforcing social distancing.
Here are several steps Disney is taking in an effort to safely reopen Walt Disney World at a limited guest capacity inside the theme parks, restaurants and resorts:
New ticket sales and Disney Resort hotel reservations are being temporarily paused.
Disney Dining Plans will be removed from all packages.
All existing dining reservations will be cancelled.
FP+ Reservations will be cancelled.
Park Hopper type tickets will be removed from all packages.
All components removed will be refunded automatically to guests.
A new theme park reservation system will require all guests to make a reservation in advance for theme park entry.
This new park reservation system will launch in the coming weeks.
Guests with existing resort reservations will have priority access to the new park reservation system when it becomes available.
When reservations for dining and other experiences resume, guests who had existing reservations will receive priority access to re-book.
*For dining locations within the parks, guests will need a park reservation and valid admission before they can re-book dining and experiences.
