Disney Memory Maker Scrapbook Projects
You just got home from your Disney vacation. Reality is already setting in – laundry, shopping, back to work. But wait! You just got an email from Disney reminding you to download your PhotoPass pictures. If you purchased Memory Maker, the unlimited digital download service that provides you with all your Disney PhotoPass photos captured during your trip, then you can download the photos onto your desktop. Now what? Let us show you some Disney Memory Maker Scrapbook project ideas!
Here’s some ideas to take those precious photos and turn them into long lasting family souvenirs you can all enjoy for years to come:
Custom Scrapbook
Crafty? Make a custom scrapbook. Purchase materials from your local craft store, make prints and create a one-of-a-kind scrapbook. You can even include things like menus, tickets, park maps. Write about your experiences and things that made your trip special. Did Junior get his first haircut at the Harmony Barber Shop? Include a lock of hair along with that precious picture. Meet Tinker Bell? Throw some pixie dust onto the page. Got character autographs? Create a page with the signature and photo. Have each child design their own special page. Relive those memories anytime you flip through your custom scrapbook.
Digital Scrapbook
Crafty-ish? Use an online photo service like Shutterfly to create a digital scrapbook. Shutterfly has pre-made Disney themed templates to get you started on your Memory Maker Scrapbook. These are not only great to order a printed copy, but to share digitally with family and friends. My family enjoys helping to put our Disney trip story together with their favorite pictures. We create a new scrapbook with each visit. It’s super fun to go back and look through the Disney lens at how much the kids have grown over the years.
Photo Collage
Another idea is to create a photo collage. The sky’s the limit! Put together a collection of photos with some cute frames to tell your story. Do you have a vacation tradition like snapping a photo of the kids each time they greet Mickey Mouse? Take several pictures from previous visits and collage them together. And don’t forget about holiday cards, ornaments, coasters. You get the idea! Don’t let those special Disney memories sit in a digital folder. Simple ideas like these will bring them to life again and again. Now where did I put that shopping list?
