Why did you pick this destination for your wedding?
It has been one of the places we always wanted to travel to, and we heard that Negril has amazing sunsets - we had a twilight hour wedding for that reason.
Which resort did you pick and why did you decide on this option?
Sandals, Negril - we wanted a luxury, adults-only experience.
What was the best part of your wedding?
The best part of our wedding was having all our friends and family able to come, and the fire dancers were amazing! They were a great ending to our night!
What was your favorite part about this destination?
The best part of the destination was the water. The ocean was absolutely beautiful and so clear. The sunset was gorgeous. All the activities included in our stay.
How did working with a Travel Advisor make your destination wedding planning easier for you?
Working with a travel advisor made everything go very smoothly. Planning a wedding is stressful enough, so it was nice having someone help with everything else. We had 26 guests come, and Nicole was flawless in helping everyone! She got back to us in a very timely manner from start to finish. Travel advisors make traveling stress-free.
What advice do you have for other couples planning their Destination Weddings?
Our advice to other couples planning their destination wedding would be to really make sure the resort you pick has everything you want for a wedding ceremony (ex. over the water chapel, beach ceremony location, indoor location if needed). I would recommend doing a test drive at the resort to make sure it is exactly what you want before the wedding. Be very specific with wedding details (ex. flowers, centerpieces, structure, bouquet, etc). Definitely work with a travel advisor if possible - they make things a lot easier!
