What are the Universal Preferred Resorts?
Loews Sapphire Falls Resort is the only resort hotel that is included in the Preferred Resort category.
Resort Layout
Since there is only one resort in the Universal Orlando Preferred Resort category, there is only one type of resort layout! Loews Sapphire Falls is a traditional resort. There is a hotel lobby with different towers located nearby. All rooms open to an interior hallway of the resort.
Dining Options
Several dining options exist at the lone Universal Preferred Resort. There are multiple table-service restaurants, a grab-and-go-style coffee shop, and more - including room service!
Amenities
Loews Sapphire Falls Resort does not disappoint on amenities! Besides a pool, guests can also expect to find and experience pool side activities, a fitness center, an arcade, and more. There is also a Universal Studios Store.
Theme Park Transportation
As a Universal Preferred Resort, Loews Sapphire Falls offers both a complimentary shuttle bus and water taxi to Universal CityWalk. This is where the entrance to both Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure theme parks can be found. There is also a walking path if guests prefer to walk. Universal’s Volcano Bay water theme park is accessible via a dedicated bus route. There is also a dedicated walking path if guests prefer.
