Review: Standard Room at Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn and Suites

Universal’s Endless Summer Resorts – Dockside Inn and Suites is one of the newest resorts at Universal Orlando.  Technically it is a Value Hotel, but you wouldn’t know that from its appearance!

I recently stayed in a Standard Room at Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn and Suites.   I was very pleasantly surprised by how much space this room offered.  I was traveling by myself but there would have been plenty of room for my entire family of 4 to fit comfortably.   At 313 square feet, these rooms feel anything but small!

One of the first things I noticed when I entered the room was just how light and airy it felt.  There was so much natural light!

The room had 2 queen beds which were very comfortable. There was also plenty of storage space.  When you first walk into the room, there is a small closet area.  Here is where the safe is located.  I had no issues storing my laptop and other valuables in the safe.  It is rather small though and if you must store multiple electronics and laptops for your family, there may be an issue.  The closet also had an ironing board and iron as well as extra blankets.

Across from the beds was a very large dresser/ desk area.  There were 3 nice sized drawers here which could be used for more storage if needed.  There was also a mini-fridge inside of a cabinet.  Suitcases and other bags could be stored in the cubby at the foot of the beds.  On top of the dresser/ desk area was also a Cuisinart coffee maker as well as packets of single serve coffee.

The bathroom was also large for a hotel room.  There was a single sink with storage shelves underneath which is where the extra towels were found.  There was also plenty of room here to store additional toiletries and items if needed.  My room had a shower.  The only complimentary toiletries provided was shampoo, conditioner, and bar soap.

Overall, I thought that the Standard Room at Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Dockside Inn and Suites is a great value!  Don’t just take my word for it though. Take a look at our room tour of the Standard Room below.
