Once at Ollivander’s, head inside for the next show as you might be selected to see if there is a special wand that will choose you! You’ll want to dress the part and stand towards the front for a better chance for you to be selected. One never knows if they will be the wizard taking part in the show. The show will begin in a room filled with wands stacked high to the ceiling where the chosen wizard will try out a few special wands throughout the shop. Once a wand has chosen the wizard, they will cast a magical spell all of their own!

At the end of the show, you will learn all about this new wand, including the price. You are able to purchase the wand or choose another type if you would like. Don’t worry if you were not selected to participate in the show. You will have plenty of time in Ollivander’s to see if there is a wand you would like as well! Ollivander’s Wand Shop is located in both Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley, which is our favorite shop location.
Now that you have your wand and a map, set off on an adventure to cast magical spells throughout both parks! Be sure to check your map for all interactive locations. Be cautious that you cast the right spell and watch for a very magical experience! There is always a wizard close to each location that will help you get the right flick and tap for the spell to work.
Wizarding World of Harry Potter Wand Experience
A Universal Park to Park ticket is required to visit both parks during your visit and enjoy all of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. This will also allow you to ride the Hogsmeade Express and venture from Hogsmeade over to Diagon Alley and back. This experience is fully immersive and one of a kind! You will want to be sure to ride both ways as the experience will be different each way.
