All About Series: Rotational Dining On The Disney Cruise Line

One of the best parts of a cruise is all the delicious food.  The Disney Cruise Line does anything but disappoint this department!  In fact, the Disney Cruise Line is known for its unique concept of “Rotational Dining”.

What Is Rotational Dining?

Rotational dining is one of the best things about the Disney Cruise Line! This method allows all guests to enjoy all 3 of the themed dining venues during their sailing.

How Does Rotational Dining Work?

Upon arrival onto the ship, Guests will be able to see their assigned dinner table as well as their assigned restaurant schedule.  This will be shown in the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.  Guests just need to simply show up to their assigned restaurant at their assigned seating time!

Each evening, guests will rotate to a different venue.  Their table mates, if there are any, will also rotate.  Perhaps the best part is that the wait staff also rotates along too!  Having the same wait staff for dinner for your whole voyage allows them to get to know both each individual guest and their preferences.

What Dining Venues Are Included?

The dining venues that are included with rotational dining differ based on the ship.

  • Disney Dream – Animator’s Palate, Enchanted Garden, Royal Palace

  • Disney Fantasy – Animator’s Palate, Royal Court, Enchanted Garden

  • Disney Magic – Animator’s Palate, Rapunzel’s Royal Table, Lumiere’s

  • Disney Wonder- Animator’s Palate, Tiana’s Place, Triton’s

  • Disney Wish - 1923, Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure, Worlds of Marvel

Of course, there are other venues available for all your dining needs – from snacks to quick-service options.  Guests are not required to dine at one of the Rotational Dining venues, but it would be a shame not to!
